Enjoy a full day out taking in the magnificent Cairns Highlands, waterfalls, rainforests, and Paronella Park (Spanish Castle ruins) - one man's inspiration and dream.
Lake Barrine: Your eco accredited day begins with a scenic drive up the Gillies Range, overlooking the breathtaking beauty of the
Mulgrave Valley. Enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea at Lake Barrine Teahouse before embarking on the informative Wildlife Cruise on Lake Barrine, providing a close-up view of one of the most complex and amazing rainforest eco-systems in the world.

Curtain Fig Tree: The infamous Giant Curtain Fig Tree, several hundred years old, stands 50 metres tall and spreads to 39 metres wide at the base. The wooden boardwalk surrounds the tree, providing a great photo opportunity.
Tarzali Lakes: Spread over 40 acres of lush rolling pastures and picturesque surrounds, Tarzali Lakes Acquaculture Centre is an accredited environmental reserve. The habitat is home to over 130 bird varieties, tree kangaroos, platypus and fresh water turtles. Enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the Lake before joining an informative short tour of the Centre. This is your chance to spot our native platypus!

Millaa Millaa Falls: After lunch we visit Millaa Millaa Falls, one of the most photographed waterfalls in Australia, surrounded by lush rainforest, cascading perfectly to a pristine waterhole below.
Paronella Park: Inspiring Paronella Park is our next stop where we enjoy an informative guided tour of the amazing Spanish Castle ruins, set in the rainforest by Mena Creek Falls. We arrive back in Cairns approximately 6.00pm.
